WASD: Camera Moving
Mouse: Choose Avator/ Avator Moving
I made the game into two parts. The first part includes a part where you select the main character. Each character has different movement speed and rotation speed. However, all player characters are faster than NPCs, so players need to check frequently to avoid some NPCs falling behind. Then the player will have to take in 6 out of 15 NPCs within a time limit of 100 seconds. All NPCs are spawned on the ground with random positions and random configurations, so the number of NPCs with different attributes is different. If the player fails in the first part, the game will end directly.
After the first part, the player will come to the second part, which is to control the NPCs. A total of 6 NPCs with different attributes will be placed at the starting point, just like Pikmin, they can only pass through the channels with corresponding attributes. However, the difference is that NPCs of any attribute can trigger switches of any attribute, and players need to make plans because NPCs will sacrifice themselves when pressing the switch. Players must ensure that the remaining NPCs are able to pass through the level. At the end, successfully carrying the treasure to the end with two NPCs will be considered a game success.
Navigation Mesh, Virtual Camera, and State Used.
In addition, I added a large number of models, scenes, SFX and materials to the game. Although some materials were lost when uploaded to itch, which made me a little regretful, I think this has greatly improved the texture of the game.
Both Cinemachine and Nav Mesh were used. These creative efforts ensured that players felt challenged yet supported, leading to a memorable gameplay experience.
