I got a lot of feedback during the playtest, which can be summarized as follows:
Sometimes, bullets go through walls.
Collisions sometimes don't trigger; there are glitches.
The laser pointer on the launcher is inaccurate and doesn't guide the route well.
Players need more satisfaction and feedback. (VFX, SFX)
The game is not considered completed when the target score is reached, only when all the bullets are fired.
I made the following changes:
1. Tested and debugged all collidable objects at the level to ensure that the thickness of all objects is sufficient for the physics engine to react so that bullets no longer penetrate walls.
2. I rewrote the level-passing mechanism and added the ability to detect scores. Now, the game switches scenes once the score reaches the target or the bullets run out.
3. Added shooting and hitting sound effects to ensure that players can get clearer feedback
4. Added sound effects before switching levels. The level will switch 1s after the sound effect is played.
